Commercial Insurance. Commercial insurance - or business insurance if you prefer - can encompass any number of activities, from a small home office or business such as a newsagent's shop, to hotels, restaurants, and many other types of business. There are a number of things to consider when purchasing business insurance, not least of which will be adequate cover for liability. However, even if your business operates from a small home office and you already have home insurance, you definitely still need to consider purchasing extra cover, as your home insurance may well not cover any business activity in your home. Worse, if a fire as a result of your business activity (faulty computer, for example), were to cause damage to the rest of your home, then you may find that your home insurance policy is also compromised.
